That’s right—we’re proudly homegrown and operated by locals! Our name is even inspired by a remarkable local woman, Freda Podesta.
At Frida’s, we’re passionate about fostering creativity within our community. We employ local emerging local artists, allowing them to showcase their talents, build confidence in teaching, and connect with art lovers. We also offer a welcoming environment for the local community to explore their artistic side in a fun and relaxed environment.

Please note, all bookings are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your booking up to 48 hours prior to your original scheduled session. Please email our team if you need to reschedule at launceston@fridas.com.au.
This is implemented due to the limited seating within our studio. Any “no show” bookings who have not emailed within the 48-hour period will not be credited for their booking. All of our sessions are 16+ unless otherwise stipulated.

Spend a couple of hours at our Launceston Studio in front of the easel, sipping and painting in a studio worthy of your next special occasion or a fun night out. Adorned with a lounge, chandeliers, iconic portraits of our namesake Frida Kahlo and a red carpet entry – our studio is designed to indulge and inspire your creative side. We’re nestled right amongst the best bars and restaurants in the area, making it easy to plan an unforgettable outing. Frida’s caters for families and events too!
